When I started my art  career as a full time vocation last year, I had a vision of what I wanted to accomplish. I wanted  to  make quality artwork  itself accessible to normal homeowners, and not just collectors, and  I also wanted to open up the artist life, showing the behind the scenes moments and activities that often aren’t shown or written about. I wanted  to  describe the moment of  creative trance when you’re so lost in your painting that  you dip your brush  in your coffee and don’t  even notice, but also the struggles when everything is going wrong and you find yourself standing at a down escalator wondering why it’s going in the wrong direction (yes, I did do that:P)  My goal with this blog is to describe the reality behind the ‘professional image’ and show all of it,  it’s struggles, insecurites, joys, pains,  successes and  failures. It is my hope that this will encourage any other young art dreamer to just go for it, take the road less travel and embrace what they love. I’m doing it, and you can too.
